Team Brief

Our Quarter 2 Performance

At Belfast Met we are committed to making sure that all staff know how we are performing against ‘Leading the City to Work’, our three year Corporate Plan 2013-16.

In this section of Team Brief we summarise how our second quarter of 2015-16 ended and highlight one or two key achievements.

Quarter 2 Performance (2015/16)

Our Corporate Plan outlines what we intend to achieve and sets targets for 2015/16. A total of 15 specific targets sit behind this planned activity.

In this section of Team Brief you can review our Quarter 2 progress against these key performance indicators (KPIs). Quarter 2 data covers November, December and January.

Our 15 KPIs are grouped by the four strategic priorities which form our 4 Point Plan. Our four priorities are:

  1. Put the learner at the centre of everything we do.

  2. Deliver the highest quality possible in all we do.

  3. Achieve the highest possible positive impact on the economic and social well-being of Belfast and Northern Ireland.

  4. Strive to be an excellent organisation growing sustainably, innovating and investing in learning.

In summary, at the end of Quarter 2:

  • 10 out of 15 targets (67%) are on track for delivery.
  • 2 targets (12%) are behind schedule and are being monitored.
  • 1 target (7%) is significantly behind schedule.
  • Data is not currently available for 1 target (7%).
  • 1 target (7%) has already been exceeded.
